6th Anniversary of Composer’s death
On Friday, May 22, the sixth anniversary of the death of Józef Świder (born 19 August 1930 in Czechowice) will pass. The composer’s earthly remains were buried at the Katowice cemetery at Sienkiewicza Street. Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Wojciech Kilar, famous friends of Józef Świder, were also buried in the same part of the cemetery.
